LA-Chronicles

The LA Chronicles is a fictional short story series written by Justin Kazmierczak.

A Fire and Preparedness - A Message from the Lord

Today I was greeted by my Lobby Assistant who explained to me why the Lobby was on fire and a lawyer was screaming, 'Why, I am going to sue you, till you go bankrupt and die.' Of course I wasn't going to let that happen. My LA told me that Sealfy, my creepy and joyful scientist, had invented yet another useless flying object.

The flying object was powered by 2 mini nuclear watch batteries which exploded when LA had whacked them away from her face, in self defense. Sealfy rushed in the room to defend himself, saying that the nuclear battery the size of a watch could power a block of industrial level homes for a day. The lawyer look left to his client who's hair was still on fire. I said to myself 'what a normal day here at EGT.'

Prepared for everything, I instantly pushed the emergency 'nuclear fire button' and a giant magnetic force pulled the fire to a room, where it was caught off of oxygen and eventually died off. Then I called my Chief Medical Officer over, who quickly treated the wounds of the lawyer's client. Once my CMO was done, the lawyers client hair was fully restores and she looked as if she had just returned from a very successful beauty salon. I on the other hand, replicated my self a triple expresso-dark chocolate reviara ice cap and went to the elevator to my office.

As soon as the elevator doors open by, Chief Security Officer screamed, 'Auditor.' I immediately pushed a button on the elevator, that opened a hidden tunnel that I crawled in and went out the back door undetected.

---- Words of Encouragement

While I am sure you do not have problems with nuclear batteries exploding, or pesky tax auditors. I am sure that you forget that GOD wants us to be prepared for everything.

According to Matt 25: 5-13, Jesus spoke about a coming bridegroom who's bridesmaid were waiting. The parable goes on to say that he was delayed and only 5 of the 10 were prepared and the others, who were not prepared, were forsaken.

Friends and Dearly beloved, GOD is reminding you that today is not a promise, and that you need to be prepared for everything.

So remember my little story that may have confused you, and you may be prepared for everything, including tax collectors. I am Justin Kazmierczak, a servant of the Lord, and I wish you Peace and Preparedness. Good Night!
